Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine how to assemble parts, machines, and other equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Operating SMT equipment (PNP, conformal coating)
  • Mounting assembled components onto chassis panels
  • Assembling components by hand
  • Troubleshooting problems to increase efficiency
  • Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and COB (Chip On Board) equipment.
  • Updates pick and place component and package parameters to ensure high yields and minimal line downtime.
  • Modifies AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) programs to accommodate component and design changes.
  • Proposes changes to assembly work instructions.
  • Recommends changes to tooling, materials, equipment, and processes to improve throughput and quality.
  • Assists with testing, rework, or equipment operation as needed.

Required

  • Associates degree in manufacturing, mechanical, software, or electrical/electronics engineering technology or 2-3 years of relevant experience a manufacturing environment.

Preferred

  • Understanding of BOM’s, ECO’s, and NC data.

Manufacturing Cost Estimators - will estimate the cost of redesigning, producing, or developing products or services, such as home appliances, vehicles, or software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other factors
  • Identify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses
  • Evaluate a product’s profitability or cost-effectiveness
  • Meet with industry experts to resolve issues and discuss estimates
  • Read technical documents or blueprints in order to prepare estimates
  • Collaborate with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients
  • Use computer software to input data and calculate estimates
  • Recommend ways to make a product more profitable or cost effective
  • Develop a plan for the duration of a project
  • Recommend ways to make an existing product more cost effective or profitable

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Technical Background is a plus

QC Tech Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain inspection reports
  • Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
  • Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
  • Perform inspections across all stages of of production
  • Prepare and maintain test data for review
  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Solid understanding of test equipment
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

The QA Lead's responsibilities include inspecting materials, processes, and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures. The QA Lead provides quality support to projects from the planning phase to project completion.

To be successful as a QA Lead you should be able to ensure that all materials, processes, and procedures meet regulatory and quality standards, and promptly resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
